We had a lovely stay with our two girls, enjoying the beautiful, spacious room with a quaint interior. The location was perfect, just a short walk to restaurants. The staff were genuinely friendly, making us feel right at home.
My kids wished there were more breakfast options, like a full English, rather than just continental items.

Staff were super friendly. The room was nice with a cool view of the market square. Karaoke night was fun. The noise from the street made it hard to sleep.

the staff were super friendly and made me feel welcome right away. the room was nice with a comfy bed and gave me a cool view of the market square. it was great to have a relaxed vibe in a pub setting. also, loved the breakfast options—they were healthy and covered what i needed. parking was easy and convenient too!
the noise from the pub was a bit much at times, especially later in the evening. wouldve liked the room to be a bit cheaper since it didn't have a river view.

The room was spacious and the bed was super comfy, which made for a great night's sleep. I loved the view over the market square. The shower was powerful, and the towels were nice and big—definitely a win! Didn't hear any noise from the pub below, which was a relief. it felt cozy and relaxed.

The homemade pasta at local spots like Lydia Turkish Kitchen was a right treat, and I loved wandering into The Codfather for some classic fish and chips! Plus, having a comfy bed and easy access to the vibrant centre of Sudbury just made the whole experience lush.
The Continental breakfast had good cereals and juices but could've used a few more pastries for a proper spread. The noise from the pub downstairs was a cheeky distraction, but you could still find some quiet moments.

Had a lovely one-night stay where I enjoyed the included continental breakfast and a refreshing shower that felt great after a long day! There are cozy lounge areas and a lovely garden to unwind, which really adds to the charm. The carpets in the stairwell could use a bit of a refresh, but it didn’t take away from our overall experience. 😊

The building's age adds character, with unique quirks that lend a certain charm. The setup provided a leisurely breakfast experience without feeling rushed, which complemented the cozy atmosphere.
Dirty marks on sheets raised eyebrows, and the proximity to the pub meant that late-night music didn't die down until beyond midnight. Early morning noise from market preparations and pub cleaning made for a restless start, with vacuuming at 4 AM being particularly jarring. The clothes storage, a bulky girder running through the room, limited space for personal belongings, and there was a lack of bins in the bedrooms, which could be inconvenient. the rooms needed better attention to cleaning details.
